Parnall SpinWasher

I have Lee maxwell to thank, a delightful lady from Oxford sent him an email after coming across his site and explained she had this machine in the garage and wanted it to go to a good home, she had it given to her 3rd hand within the family when her son was born 42 years ago....she loved using it and went she went back to work purchased a Bendix 7148 fully automatic which lasted until a few years ago!!

I`ll do a thread on Imperial later, BTW its the cream model....

HI MIKE

All three look splendidly decked out, exactly like presents should. Great cosmetic shape. Loving the "Spin" washer. How fun. Hey Mike, the agi looks to have 5 or 6 vanes like the Thor.

The two Hotpoints with real agitators are so "WANTED" in the States. Lucky you.

I know what great Karma you have, but wondering if you have enough to go--and get-- all the way to twelve: that's a lotta warshin' machines. Holy Christmas !!!

Can't wait to see.

PS:

Also got a real kick out of the Lee Maxwell reference, bouncing across the oceans, from Oxford to Lee's Museum (forgotten, for the moment, where it is), and back across to Cheshire. Coincidentally, Lee led me here to Aworg. Guess it took a Yank to get you a Parnell--YAY!

by the eighth day of christmas

you'll be needing some additional plumbing and sockets in your new apartment, if this run of generousity continues lol.

Oh lovely looking spinwasher Mike, look forward to seeing it in action.

Having only seen catalogue and which magazine photos, I wasn't expecting the plug in supply and drain hoses on top of the control panel as with the original model, mind I hadn't given it any thought either, i suppose not being a fully automatic, the hoses would need to be accessable if the machine was wheeled to the sink for use. The drain hose hanging straight over and into the sink as in the case with the first few models of the Hoover twintubs, would seem a sensible arrangement.

Mathew

Thanks, Tim ~

I was thinking Washinton, Utah, or Idaho, ho ho ho !

Mike must be busy with his "Three wringers wringing."
