Hey, can someone help find a good home for this set? It's so beautiful! We originally were going to 'part it out' but it's too nice to ruin like that ... so we want it to go to a good home!

Nice GE setup
These look to be really clean. I see only one pushbutton missing from the control panel.
The color's official name is Woodtone Brown.
You might want to post a thread in the 'Shoppers Square' forum with a link to this thread to generate some interest.

When we first saw this set we thought it was GE's version of Salmon Pink, which was the color of paint used in our kitchen (our GE set is turquoise, and this builder in our neighborhood also had them available in yellow). But it's not *quite* pink. We're glad to know the official name.
And thanks for the tip on the right forum to post. I've been away from the board for a while so I forgot that there's a buy-sell forum. That's really helpful because this is taking up room in the garage and I'd like to move it quickly. Now that we finally have everything in our house 100% vintage, we're at the point where if we don't 'upgrade' something our finds are really just things we want to pass to others. We still run into vintage appliances quite a bit so if there's interest we'll have to start posting our finds!
