Hope it's ok to post this here, my cousin Rich isn't a poster here but I thought it might be of interest:
My cousin is an Prof. of Art and also an active artist here in NY. About 20 yrs ago he was on a '50s kick and at my behest he did a series of original MonoPrints (1 of 1) of vintage '50s appliances and fabrics. I bought an original monoprint of a Pank '50s range (see below) that I commissioned. It's about 14 x 17 unframed. He also did a Constellation vac, Mixmaster, an old fan, and some cool '50s fabric patterns. You can see them by using the link below. Some of his drawings, watercolors and pastels are on that site as well. The pastel sunset beach scene is the beach at our VT place. Since the 90s he's done a lot of gender political artwork as well, most of which isn't shown there, but it's won much of the awards and recognition.
He's since made some print reproductions of the appliances on archival art paper that he sells for around $30 each. I'll include a link to some of them. He'd also consider commissions of paintings or monoprints of any member's appliance, size and price negotiable but probably $3-600 range. These are high quality original artworks and an investment, he's been shown in NY (the city) and around NY state and has won numerous grants and awards. If anyone has any interest contact me on here.
