A fixer-upper's dream...

I came across this current listing on Bird Avenue in San Jose (old, small homes on small lots in an OK neighborhood) at an as-is price, presumably because of the fire. $795,000. Burned out house;

is in a typical working to lower middle class area. The homes in those neighborhoods of Orlando I found not so attractive. Maybe they are the vernacular style for that area.
Concrete block construction also, but for hurricane region, that I get.
I'm just used to red, grey, tan brick, stone, and such on higher grades from street level.
