Guys, I need some advice about a coffeemaker from Oster before I buy it.

A few Weeks ago, I found in a famous store in Ciudad del Este - Paraguay some Oster products.
I bought the Counterforms digital toaster oven which is fantastic as a compact oven for quick snacks. Everybody here simply loved it. It´s so cool that has a convection fan and dehydrate function.

As you might know, like to have good small appliances but I don't collect them. I just want good things that I can trust.

About coffemakers, i always had problems to find a decent one. Years ago I had a coffeemaker from Philips-Walita that was great. It was the cafe gourmet and it's most important feature was that it boiled all the water before letting it flow through the powder.
After almost 15 years, it died and I couldn't find any other decent coffee maker.

Ok, ok, experts say that the water for the coffee should never boil, but i prefer to ignore this blahblahblah and brew a very hot coffee, decent for my taste. and the problem i had with several other coffe makers, from the cheapest to the most expensive brands was exactly a cold coffee.

When I saw that Oster coffee maker in the store, i just fell in love for it's design. It's cute and matches my toaster oven and other stainles steel major appliances. It also has several buttons (I love them) but I want to be sure it's good before I spend 95 dollars on it. (in the U.S. it´s much cheaper, i know). I just want a very hot coffee.

Note that I don't have much options here. Premium coffee makers are spresso makers and the only coffee makers that look a little better than those cheap plastic chinese crap are the Philips Avance Collection (I already have the juicer and the food processor from the same model family which are fantastic, but this coffe maker has only a power on-off button, a model from Electrolux that has timer (that´s my last option because even being a premium model, it reminds me a cheap plastic crap in a dress shirt) and this Oster in Paraguay. It looks amazing but... is it really good?

Other thing a little strange is that I visited Oster's website and I couldn't find anything about the Counterforms model family but I could find the coffeemaker and some other small appliances (toaster and blender) on Amazon.com

While that, I still using a Melitta plastic filter holder and a kettle.
