Oh me, oh my, I'm in desperate need! My model 540 is now only working on the highest speed!

It shouldn't be a big deal to access the the speed selector from inside and check for any broken wires or burnt contacts. Off hand, I can't come up with a probable cause for it only working on high speed.
That Supreme looks like an uncommon model. I hope you can fix it.

About 200 blenders I have NEVER seen that one! I have a similar model but it has a rotary control.

Switch board switch out.
Thanks guys, I never saw this model before either. I was thinking, what are the chances that the switch board off of another model fitting? I dont see too many 3 speed push button types out there.

If you can find a donor blender, you might be able to swap controls, but first open yours up and look for any obvious issues. It may be an easy fix.

There doesn't seem to be any obvious signs of a short, or burn marks.
I'm thinking maybe the switch just went out.

The trouble is likely inside the switch mechanism. Have you swapped out the wires to see if the other two speeds work when their leads are connected to the "high" spade?
If you can pull the entire switch box out, you may be able to determine whether it can be taken apart. If not, then I'm betting that the other blenders you posted pictures of above will have the same arrangement that could be swapped out entirely. It would be nice to keep the buttons all white though, and depending on the type of donor blender you choose, it may require opening things up on both the new and the old in order to harvest the white buttons from the bad switch.
Keep us posted. I think it's worth it to obtain a donor blender in order to keep your rare model in proper working order.
