Or at least parts for one. As best I can tell, this is a 1920s Montgomery Wards frame. I'll probably put in a modern crank, hub, and wheels. But either way it'll be cooler and more interestng than the "dime a dozen" cruisers in the neighborhood.

Whoa!

Parts are available to restore that bike. My housemate and I restore bicycles sometimes. I ride a 1952 Raleigh and I have a 1937 Roadmaster on the back burner. Lemmie do a little more research...

Costco has some very nice road bikes in stores these days... except whoever made them must think that all Americans are over six feet tall. I value my privates and would not ride one of those things if you paid me...
