Talking dolls

And people still use the term "Chatty Cathy" for people who talk too much.

And was the name of that remote controlled St. Bernard dog that walked?

Slime! I was a teenager when it came out and I STILL had to have it.

(I have a theory that physically, men age at the normal rate, but the emotional maturity tops out at age 9.)

Gaylord! I have a commercial for him. Sidenote: Consumer Reports gave Gaylord a poor rating. Seems he went through batteries quicker than they thought necessary.

Silly String! Hate to admit it, but I have dried remnants of Silly String on my monitor here at work. Long story, but see theory above...

Chatty Cathy! Have one of those, too. Apparently, there is no END to the stuff I have.

But come on, folks--isn't anyone else going to share pics?

Pics

I would if I still HAD that stuff! A lot of stuff didn't survive our parents "they've outgrown it, let's give it away or throw it out" syndrome

Other collections

Here's my collection of Lost-is-Space toys. Only the Black and Red robot, made by Remco, is vintage. I got it for Christmas in 1967. The other robots and the Jupiter-2 came out when the Lost In Space movie was released (mid 90's, I can't remember exactly). I got my two young nephews hooked on the show. They like Star Wars and Star Trek as well but somehow Lost in Space had that kid appeal. After all, what kid didn't fantasize of having a robot of their own. Ahhh the memories...
