It is nearly two months since I moved from Palm Springs, Ca. to Tucson, Az. It made my day when in yesterday's mail, I received an Easter Card from the ladies of the Altar Guild at my former parish in California saying how they miss me and how I took care of vestments and communion linens. In the meantime, although I wanted to take a little break, the Rector (Pastor) of my new parish here in Tucson has inducted me on to the Altar Guild and I am busy at work washing and ironing vestments in time for Easter. Good to be back at the ironing board.

Alter Guild? I used to be on the Alter Guild at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock, AR. I loved it, but after I moved to Memphis, the Alter Guilds here are not as much fun, so I'm not in it any more. I really miss it.
