HOTPOINTS!

Daniels has been a Hotpoint dealer since 49! Johnnys Dad bought the business in the late 40s, and Hotpoint and Monarch were his main merchandise.

Seriously..

These are the best folks to trade with you will find, Johnny, his Wife and Son run the business, and run it just as it was done 50 years ago...NO COMPUTERS! everything is done on paper!! We bought our living room furnitue there and our fridge and range, I will not buy anywhere else, because if it breaks, all I have to do is pick up the phone, prompt, courteous service makes all the difference, its nice to know there are a few places left like this.

Monarch also used the same control knobs on their gas ranges as those on the 36" model shown above.  Mom had them on her Monarch gas range which was a mid-50's model, and came with the house when they bought it in 1967.  I still miss that stove.  What brand is that huge chest freezer?  There is a huge Philco chest freezer for sale in a foreclosure house 1 1/2 block up from us, also an early to mid-50's 40" Frigidaire range.

Bev & I have bought all of our major appliances from Hargrave Appliances in Merrill, WI for the exact same reasons.  They've been in business since 1948.  The dealers in Wausau could care less once the item is out of the store.

P.S. I'll take the Roadmaster also.  Just add it to my appliance bill please. lol
