Our new L.G. top loader arives tomorrow

Well our new L.G. top loader arrives tomorrow my sister would not budge on the Simpson W/house models,and the Samsung 8kg has been discontinued and after learning about Hitachi disappearing from Australia shortly we were left with the L.G.
We are getting the WF-T857,here are the features:
1.Programs-8 in total,
Fuzzy.
Delicates.
Quick Wash.
Jeans.
Normal.
Favourite.
Silent.
Wool.
Capacity-8.5kg
Spin Speed-710rpm's.
Stainless steel washbowl.
Digital display.
2 lint filters.
2 waterfalls.
Shower rinsing.
Punch+3 Pulsator.
Turbodrum with I-sensor.
Delay start from 3-48 hours.
Actually I kind of preferred another model, the WTH756TH which is basically the same machine but with a 7.5kg capacity and had a direct drive motor instead of a conventional one,but it was out of stock and would not be in for about 3-4 weeks, so we just got this one which was available.
I was quite impressed from the outlet we purchased it from, a company called Appliancesonline.com.au,an online retailer,who I feel gave us a great deal on it,$703.00,free delivery and free installlation as well,they gave quite good service by both e-mail and on the phone as well,so I think in the future I will certainly deal with them again.

our first load in the L.G.

We have just tried out the new L.G. top loader with a large load of underwear and normal clothes as we have not washed for 4 days,(raining very heavily you see),here is how it went:
Selected normal programme,
Pulsator moves load around for about 10 seconds to determine water level,detergent needed and cycle time-(49 minutes all up.
Sprays hot water into tub and detergent dispenser to dissolve detergent-(Fab with frangipanni fragrance.)
Fill up to necessary water level and begins pulsating.
1 minute or so of full on reverse pulsating(360 degree maybe),then another minute or so of shorter stronger pulsating(120 degree stroke maybe),washing continues like this for 23 minutes. then the other 26 minutes is made up of:
1.Drain wash water.
2.Short spin with shower rinse.
3.Fill up for 1 deep rinse with pulsation as described above for about 5 or so minutes.
4.Drain rinse water.
5.Second shower rinse with short spin.
6.Final spin-5-6 minutes.
7.Beeper to signal wash finished.
Final result:
Excellently clean load especially disabled brother's underwear with poo stains washed out clean,no tangling of load and load smelling lovely and fresh.
Verdict after 1 wash-Very Impressed.

Air dry cycle

Hello Ralf,
The air dry cycle is just a feature which is meant to assist with drying, it basically is just a programme in which the machine spins and outside air is pulled into the spinning drum via a vent on the lid which acts a bit like a wind I guess, you can select a 30 minute,1 hour or 2 hour programme, in fact the instruction manual recommends once a week to do this fucntion while the machine is empty to dry out the drum totally.
Lavamat,I would love to post some pictures, (when I work out how to do it.)

So far so good there have no worries with the L.G.although you would not want to be after only a month of use, the real test will come with time.
Yes these new H.E.Simpson and Electrolux models sound really interesting,should be well worth a look at.
I do think it is a shame though that Electrolux are doing away with the Westinghouse brand and replacing it with thier own, but I guess that is life today, you simply have to accept it albeit begrudgingly.
