Hi John. I essentially meant overuse of detergent that isn’t getting rinsed out enough in each wash. This happens with people who use too much detergent with the light wash, or one hour wash. I bought a dishwasher that had tons of detergent left behind in it due to this and it took multiple rinse only cycles to get it all out, more of a rare case, I should of been more specific it’s hard to write all of this info where we can’t all talk face to face! Anyways yes your absolutely right! I’ve always wondered if it’s the amount of Dawn they claim to put into all of the actionpacs, there is no other ingredient listed that should cause the sudsing.
Yes any cascade pac can get sudsy depending on the water softness, the softer the water is and the more powerful of a dishwasher it is the more sudsy it’s gonna get with any of the pacs for sure. Just in my case where I live it was only the regular platinum that caused oversudsing. I can’t imagine what the platinum plus would do to a dishwasher in real soft water conditions. Cascade doesn’t think it’s an issue.
