Oxydol: The final cheapening

So does that mean...

That oxydol is still around as a Tide product? I was going to attempt to amp up a cheap powder (probably mexi ariel) with some stpp and percarbonate (just found out oxydol used perborate) to get a similar formulation but if it's still available I see no need.Except the phosphate of course lol.

No Oxydol is made by a different company now...the one that makes Biz. I've seen the liquid at Big Lots...the powder seems harder to find.

Don't know from Clorox detergent

But there was a dry Clorox bleach that one just loved! Bought ever single box could lay hands on when heard it was being discontinued.

It was an activated oxygen bleach and (IIRC) contained enzymes. Am here to tell you the stuff whitened like no one's business in warm or hot water. Kicked things up to very hot or boiling and whoaaa Nellie!
