Yet another name for the "Suds Saver Feature" that only Nash-Kelvinator could have thought of...

I could see a future for evolutionizing this machine if there were only the buyership for it, and the better quality American Motors could have invested in it, the way General Motors supported their own Frigidaire, even if this relevance was only briefly...

And imagine getting a "Suds Back" in every available color--& maybe with what I would suggest, bigger push-buttons...

Also known as static overflow, in which agitation ceased, the pump went off, but the water rushed in at full volume-- AND--aerated, forcing the current of water went deep into the tub, and so effective that the rinse water was actually clear by the end of the true overflow. Then came high drama as the whirling agitator erupted, hurling waves of water everywhere. One of the great moments in washer history. Unforgettable!

The excess water exited thru the ring of holes surrounding the rim of the tub, waiting in the outer tub until the motor energized and the pump went on. Water nazis would have a fit today, trolling about all the wasted water, but God, was that ever a rinse.

kelvinator!

That has to be the best wash action next to Frigidaire! The rinsing was really outstanding! If this didn't clean clothes nothing will. Its really ashame they ceased to exist. I really wish they would have made a 1/18!
