Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Pa members was a bit...

I don't know that word I'm looking for but I didn't mean it to seem discriminatory. I apologize if I offended anyone, I just really meant to say it's in Pa. Oy. I really stick my foot in my mouth sometimes! The more I try to explain the worse it gets! *says with a smile* Anyway, I just thought someone might want to have a lookee at the washer. There. whew.

Toggleswitchs are the source of a lot of pain and heartache.

Toggle probably didn't mean it that way. Actually, he probably was being a smart ass. Toggleswitchs are the source of a lot of pain and heartache. I read that somewhere. It's probably in the Bible. I'm glad you listed the state because it made me take a look. It seems that Ohio and Illinois are havens of vintage appliances but not so much in PA for some reason.

no blame to toggleswitch

I didn't mean that post to seem like I was down over what he said, it was just when I actually re-read what I originally posted it sounded ridiculous in my head (one can never tell what's swimming around in there, I try to stay out as much as possible!). I only wanted to clarify I wasn't trying to say pa members only like a snob or something. No big deal, I wasn't upset about what he said, wasn't quite sure how to take it, but not upset. anyway, thanks for trying to keep the peace, versatronic!

That darned defective Toggleswitch.

OMG, Kids all I meant to say was *Thank you for posting*. And I certainly didn't meant anything by it on any other level.

I APOLOGIZE.

But I do appreciate the feed-back to learn to be more careful.

Tone is hard to judge on this here new fangled web-thingy!

I'm an ameteur

when it comes to identifying, especially without a close up of the panel. BUT I thought that is what it looked like, which is why I dropped the link. I emailed the owner of the machines and requested a close up of the panel and *crosses fingers* model number. If I get that info, I will post in this thread.

seller responded

I just got a response from the seller of that frigidaire and he promised pic(s) of the panel this weekend. As for the model...all he could come up with was WIG. So, any experts here who can tell me what that means...I just don't know where he looked to come up with that, he was unsure about it. Just trying to help out, I don't even know if there is interest here for this particular machine. I'm not interested in it, but if it's a 1-18, thought someone would like to have it. I'll help out any way I can if it's needed.

Don't sweat the Pa thing; all benevolent vintage appliance
mavens no perfectly well that you were only giving a heads
up to our kind in handy propinquity. You older elders, scan,
scan, scan; read, read, read! See thread # 6094 in Imperial
Section "the unwanted one" by christfr. Looks to me like the
Pa. Craigslist Frigidaire and christfr's are the same model.
This thread should be in the "pink"!

frontaloadotmy

You are so right, I never even thought about this being in the wrong section.
And as for the other bit...it's been settled, maturely and respectably outside of here in email.
Nothing I said above was meant to raise any alarms or give one reason to believe I was asking others to tip toe around me in sensitivity. It's cool, I'm cool with it all and it was a mis-understading or mis-interpretation of sorts.

error

bigtime! After reading the "1956 GE kitchen in VA" post, methinks mister unimatic is going to swat me! I promise I won't post in the wrong color again. Frontaloadotmy already told me that yellow so doesn't go with this washer! I would gladly move this post *scratches head* if only I had those specikal magikal post moving powers.

Unimatic, please forgive me!
