I've been a hardcore Pac Man fan for years! It's been all over the net that he officially turns 30 years old on May 22nd. Can you believe that? 30 years already! And if you go to Google's site, and click on the Insert Coin button, you can actually play the game right there on the search engine. It's pretty cool. Plus there is a link that will take you to the actual Pac Man game where you can play for free. Geez I even remember when they made the home version for Atari 2600 (which I do still have that console somewhere) and people were mega pissed at how bad they made the game. Was nothing like the arcade version. Then Ms. Pac Man came out and people were much happier. I played that game constantly. Funny how games have changed since then, and when we do look back at those old games, the memories they bring back and the smiles they put on your faces. Happy Birthday Pac Man, you've made MILLIONS of people very happy over all these years, and still continue to!

I love and still play PacMan, that and Donkey Kong, today's games are just to complicated for me. I guess I'm just an old fart now, LOL.

And earlier today Google aggravated and annoyed over 1 million users world wide with that Pac-Man game on it's home page. It wasn't so bad just having it there, but the noises were LOUD and terrible.
You can just imagine all the people in offices trying to do work and all making these annoying sounds! I guess people aren't as playful as Google thinks they are!

LMAO!

Good lord that's a lot of pissed off people. I'm glad I use Internet Explorer. It doesn't do a thing unless you click on Insert Coin. Ah well. At least there are lots of other fans out there getting a kick out of this lol.

Happy Birthday Pac Man!

I spent most of Friday and Saturday night playing both the Google, and actual versions of the game. I haven't played in years, and on Friday I played the actual version until the wee hours Saturday morning. This is the firs Pac-a-thon I ever embarked on, as every other time I tried to go the distance I bankrupted myself of quarters. The memories of being a kid again were alive this weekend. God the 80s were great!

Have a good one,
James

Now I'll to fish out my 2600 Model I and play a few rounds of Pac Man to celebrate as well as Bezerk and Kaboom. I hope that damn thing still works, lol. I haven't fired it up in 11 years or so.

early '80s video games

used to play all of the early '80s video games:pacman, zaxxon,
