Pacific gorenje ps 435 HELPPP!!!!!!!

I have just received a pacific gorenje ps 435 because my other washer died on me. I have never used/had a front loader washing machine and I just can't work out how to use it for the life of me! I have surfed the web for hours in hopes of finding a users manual or something relevant to help me along my journey but thus far I have had no such luck! Will someone please educate me on how to use this washing machine!

Pretty straight forward really.

Detergent goes in the drawer on the right hand side.

The dial on the left is the programmer. Read the guide on the front of the machine and it will tell you what number does what wash and at what temperature.
for example:

4. Non Fast Coloureds 40*

That means a short wash for colours that may bleed colour in the wash at 40 degrees which is a warm wash. The rest should be pretty self explanatory.

The button is for an Economy wash which you would use if u want to save energy, it means it doesnt heat the water it just takes whatever temperature water the machine is hooked up to, based on the cycle.

To start the machine, you pull out the programmer dial, check its not pulled out already by pushing the dial in and then pulling out. Make sure the door is fully closed as it wont do anything until you do.

Another thing to mention is if you are used to a top loader, when the cycle has finished on a front loader it takes a couple of minutes for the door to unlock so don't be worried if the door doesn't open straight away, if you wait it will be able to be opened soon ;-)

If you let me add something else, one important thing is you MUST use low suds detergents, and be careful as to the amount of soap. If it's liquid just a small amount like 3 or 4 spoons and if it's powder 1/4 or 1/3 cup, depending on the hardness degree of the water in your area. Usually front loaders take a longer time to do the job but usually do it far better!. On the run you will get acquainted with your machine. Good luck and enjoy your washings like we all here do. I'll go a little further than Matty

Firstly, these have a fairly slow spin....just so you know.

- Ensure you do any zippers up and jeans/trousers up fully etc too.
- Don't be afraid to fully load the machine....even though it doesn't look like it, it will take a decent load. Load it to the top of the drum so that your hand can just fit between the top of the drum and the clothes

- at least a QS doona cover, QS flat/fitted sheet and 4 pillow cases will fit

- to ensure you fill it as much as possible, don't 'ball' things up and push them in, rather hold them at the top, grab in the middle and then feed the 'roughly folded' item in - especially sheets.

- the non-colour fast 40c cycle should be the one you use the most. You'll be amazed at the results of washing in warm water.

- For your first detergent choice, OMO for front loaders is one of the best...and it rinses well.

- use 1/3 the fabric softener you would normally and water it down before pouring in the drawer.

- it's common sense, but make sure there are no items hanging over the door seal when you shut it

- wipe the seal out and leave the door ajar when you are finished for the day.

Anything else, just ask.

I have one of these machines. In fact, by coincidence today is its last day in my house as it has developed a leak and I will be replacing it with an LG
