Levi J. is still making the talk shows rounds, was interviewed by Diane Sawyer. Hardball had a clip tonight. I swear i think that kid will go places once he matures a little more.

Levi's interview on the Today Show this morning was pretty amazing.

One of the final questions was, "Are you trying to cash in on your 15 minutes of fame?", and Levi basically said yes I am. LOL

Pretty big balls for a 19 year-old.

Don't underestimate Sarah, she has the politician's knack. Look how far Reagan got. It really is all about showmanship (or is it showpersonship?)

Respectfully, i think Ronald Reagan was the "brawn", Nancy was the brains, politics aside, she still is one gutsy Lady, an American treasure. Mrs. Reagan In March 2009 praised President Barack Obama for reversing the ban on federally funded embryonic stem cell research.

Sarah Palin

I don't hate Sarah Palin. I hold the republican party responsible for not properly vetting her. Elizabeth Dole or Mary Matlin were far more qualified to add dignity to the republican ticket. It really wasn't her fault she was yanked from her cozy den and thrown out to do the best she could. Come on, a 44 year old woman who is ready to dump her family and a new born baby and take off to rule the world shows dented character. I am not a republican and not particularly enamored with Palin, but most of what she said in the article is true.

It's not apparent from Palin's article that she even understands what cap-and-trade is. She's simply regurgitating the scare tactics of ExxonMobil and others who have large vested interests in cheap (and dirty) coal. Many of these claims have already been disproven in the EU and other parts of the world.

The U.S. has had a cap-and-trade program for sulphur dioxide since 1990, and not only have emissions of SO2 been cut in half since that time, this reduction was achieved at a cost that was 80% less than a source-by-source approach would have cost (see link).

Palin is just trying to drum up popular fear, and advance the status quo/dirty coal agenda of major oil corporations, without providing a single hard number to back up the claims she's making about cap-and-trade.
