Panasonic Twin Tub

Hey everyone
Has anyone ever heard of or seen a Panasonic twin tub? I use to have one and have been searching for another for years. I have been unable to find anything about them online. Mine was Avocado in color

IIRC, They Were Made In Japan

Also are rare has hen's teeth to find. However every now and then one has popped up on fleaBay or CL, in various states of condition.

One problem, would think parts are hard to find, if at all.

japanese twin tubs

seems there was several brands of japanese twin tubs sold in
the u.s. around the 1969-82 years,often as "captive imports"
for sears,MW,ETC.Used to find them at the dump back in the '80s
up to around 1995;3 different manufactuers were found-sanyo,
brother,and a third that may have been toshiba or matsushita
all of these had split capacitor induction motors for the spin
can and impellers-the spin can driven directly.On one of them
the impeller bearing,seal and pulley looked like a copy of
hoover.
