I recognized the background music for once! I'm a Tennessee Ernie Ford fan and have Ol' Rockin' Ern.

Another great recipe, but I'm going to cheat and purchase ground chicken at Hy-Vee today. Always enjoy your videos. You and Ralph have a great rapport.

I'm sure you could make these with ground turkey too which is available in almost any market. As good as these burgers look and as entertaining as the cooking class video is, getting a glimpse of the outside of the cottage is a real treat. You are both so fortunate to have this wonderful vacation retreat not all that far from home. Enjoying your food outdoors just makes it all the more fun...and delicious too.

Thanks all!

We really love these and I'm glad those who tried them also liked the recipe. Yes you can easily make these with ground turkey, which is probably more available in stores, but we just love the texture and flavor of the chicken.

Joe you are so right about enjoying food in the beautiful outdoors and how much better the food tastes! We only have so many months in Michigan that permit us to enjoy the cottage and weather nice enough to be outdoors, we appreciate every opportunity we have to be there. It gives us something to look forward to during the long winter.

We talked about doing a cookbook or some kind of collection of all the recipes when we hit 200 episodes-just last week we put up #190! If we didn't have these pesky jobs that require so much of our time and attention we might actually get around to doing it :-) Maybe someday! Thanks for asking!

I made these burgers today while I was canning tomatoes.
Luckily the slaughter house I buy my meat from sells ground chicken breast, and I always have it in my freezer for buffalo chicken chili.

I ate my burger plain with no dish, and just a bit of sharp provolone melted on top.
They were awesome, I'll be making them again

Thanks Kevin,

It is great being able to get things like ground chicken breast, lamb, and veal that can be hard to find. As well as some specialty items like Garlic Bacon, jalapeño peach sausage, and mango chipotle sausage

Very GOOD!!

I have wanted to make these since you posted the recipe. Since I just cleaned the grill and wanted it to stay nice for a day or two, I browned these in a pan and finished them off in the oven.

They were SOOOO good!! This recipe is a keeper. Hubby doesn't eat read meat and generally turkey burgers aren't always the best so burgers can be a problem in our house. We really liked these and will make them again. I may even try these as a red meat free alternative to a meatball.

Thanks guys!

And here is the funny thing. I hadn't watched your video until after I made them so I never thought of putting down the foil!! LOL
