Parting Out Maytag DG7500 Dryer

I may be parting out a DG7500 Maytag gas dryer for my grandmother. Her pilot light won't stay lit so she is calling for service and if they can't fix I will have it. It is a BZ serial 1990 model in good shape used only by two elderly folks since new.

There is NO pilot light on this dryer, it has electric ignition.

I assume that the problem is it will not heat, this is usually a pretty cheap fix, they probably should try getting it fixed.

That's what I was trying to figure out myself. Grandma is 88 so she may not understand. I will see what the repair guy says when he comes out. I have not looked at it myself, I don't mess with gas, just electric.

You were right, half an hour with a new ignitor and coils for the gas valve fixed it right up! Part-out cancelled LOL
