Pasadena Heritage - Craftsman Weekend Oct. 16-18, 2009

I'm thinking of going to Pasadena for the 18th-annual Craftsman Weekend. Have any of you attended it in years past? Is anybody planning on attending this year? Is it worth the trip?

If there are a few fellow members planning on going, perhaps we could have a get-together ourselves in addition to the events of the weekend. Any thoughts?

I'm an hour away and rather into historic preservation myself. I'm down for meeting up if you come out this way.

Too bad I am in Ohio.

I am a professional historic preservationist (A BA and a terminal MFA in the subject). Right now I am freelancing in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I love architecture and furnishings of the Craftsman movement and if I was out west, I would certainly go. Right now, I shall have to be content with washing machines and Queen Anne houses.

remember this TV "Family" from Pasadena? Not sure if the house qualifies as Craftsman, but very nice nonetheless.
