Just looked at the patent of the day. I never knew that Frigidaire even toyed with the idea of a rubber tub to extract the water. I know around this time is when Bendex had or developed the Econo-mats with the rubber tub.
With the 1140 spin on Frigidaire's I am surprised they even thought about using the rubber tub to take out the moisture. My grandmothers econo-mat left lots of water still in the clothes.
