I always approach scrapyards and tips with a degree of trepadation. What will be there and will it cause a problem for me?
Ohhh that poor 95622:-( Yep, fascially a bit far gone but, as you mention, it still has its chrome door. Also, ignoring the lack of side strips, its main front panel looks rustless and its lid looks in good nick too AND is the rare extended lid!
That 9326 sneaking in the background looks to also have a good lid and its right side strip is intact too. I get the impression, from only an edge of the machine, that it was in good visual condition?
Being honest, I probably wouldn't have rescued either machine, but the temptation of parts would definitely have seen me asking permission.
Ahhhhh, well.
Sad photos but all part of the re-cycle of appliance life.

p.s we have all had to let machines go or pass on them at some stage. Two painful instances for me were a pristine Hotpoint TL21 and, I still kick myself with the next one, a grade B-/C+ Hotpoint 9414 Supermatic De Luxe:-(
Even more painful memories from the dim and distant past, when I was still at school and not in a position to preserve anything - circa 1990, walking round the back of the scrap metal skip was a 3224 slant front Keymatic! I stuck the keyplate in my pocket and still have it to this day:-(
Another occasion, at a different tip, again circa 1990 - a pristine Zanussi S118T, resting on its back, at a 45degree angle, right at the top of the skip. Could open the door, pull the powder drawer out and turn the programmer:-(
