I thought it might be fun to have a thread dedicated to vintage washing machine photos that are most suitable for wallpaper on your pc. I know I have quite a few. I thought others might also rotate their wallpaper through vintage machines. I'll post a couple to get us started.

NOTE: I didn't take any of these photos, just downloaded over time.

Kenmore Console

I have had this one up as my wallpaper for the longest time. Only a couple of people have recognized what it is/was.

That first picture was of my 1982 Kenmore before it became "Frankenmore-ized". That day I was trying out the Super Roto-Swirl agitator in the garage...I also remember it was COLD!

And I know who the next two pictures belong to! ;-)

I like this one...

Because I remember Kenny and me dragging these out of the junkyard. They are now resting under my grape arbour. Greg, I see a quite a few on "the pile that look better than these. LOL!! I still want to try to restore the one on the right someday.

I remember seeing that GE overflow picture on Webshots; it was part of a nursing home laundry in a building inspector's album. They commented (not so nicely) about the oversudsing washer.

Speaking of GE, here's some straight-vane action on the Dispensall, washing darks with vintage Cold Power liquid.

A European Twist

My AEG Lavamat 660 - which should hopefully be fully restored and working by the end of the summer!

Unimatic overflow washing...

2-ring agitator with a 3-ring cap! Found it on a junk Multimatic and was eager to try it out...original black cap is back on now though!

GREAT IDEA!

I use to have the pic of the turquoise 64 LK as my wallpaper for a LONG TIME. Just changed it to the 63 Kenmore lighted up control panel! LOVE IT!!
