Whats so cool is that every time I see a washer, the music is in sync with the agitation!

"Major Tom (Coming Home)" by Peter Schilling

supposedly the sequel to "Space Oddity" by David Bowie.

I was originally going to use "Promised Land" by Elvis Presley but going through my music I found Major Tom would really work here, even if it is an 80s song.
 
Baby Kenmo'

Amazing how SMALL the 24" Kenmore looks compared to the other "full size" machines. She has alot of work to be done to her but she worked fine for me and didn't leak at the wash-in. The only functional problem was the spin between the wash and rinse on PP and Delicate didn't work. Both spins on Normal worked, and the final spin on cycles worked. Could be a timer issue?
 
That was just fabulous Jason, you are such a talented videographer!! Was that little baby Kenmore the same machine that was at the 2003 DC convention?
 
Yes, it was. The air gap for the water level control had broken, and the lint filter was totally cracked open on the bottom. We removed the lint filter and used a connector to link the 2 hoses together, which caused the machine to suck air though the drain hose and give us quite a bit of foam in the tub. Steve R was able to sweet talk a salty old used appliance dealer out of a used air gap, which then had to be sealed onto the machine with some liquid gasket.

One of the best scenes (besides the Kenmore) was when Helen was stepping out of the house. This is her seeing a GM Frigidaire for the first time. There's always a look of awe when one sees an up and down agitator for the first time.
