Fred, Once spun

by an Easy Spin, there is no going back!

Michael, you have DOUBLE - DECKED working dishwashers in rows. That's phenomenal. You must be crazy for dishwashers. Hardy har-har! ...... I know, I know.

The porcelain in the Thor and the steel rim guard look brand new--how cool!

But the prize winner for me is the Dexter. So beautiful, and such a good year, and burgundy agitators....and what a sturdy, powerful, and very pretty wringer!

What a nice crowd. It must have been a lot of fun. Like Ben, I wish I could have been there. Thank you, Gentlemen, for the stunning pix, and to Mike for labeling all the machines, and yes it is a gray ghost.

I am sure it was great fun! Sorry I couldn't make it...

I love the 'Appliance parade' in the driveway - that 71 Frigidaire top-load fascinates me!

Mercedes SL

That would be mine.  A 560SL - 5.6 liter V8.  Hard to pass on the open road.  Interesting story behind it.  Bought new in LA in 1986 and passed on to me by my partner.  Starting to be a bit grumpy, but after 25 years, it's entitled.  Still looks great though.

Fred, that is a beautiful machine, I am ever so envious. Take care of her, she comes from the generation of "over-engineered" Mercedes. I have been looking for a BMW 6 series from the same decade, hard to find here. Someone in my neighbourhood has a black 560SL as well, not sure what year.
