Pepsi promoting gays---oh my!

I've been parrotting Andrew Sullivan on this issue for 10+ years. He's had it right all along.

When you tell a conservative that support for same-sex marriage is in fact the conservative position, it's amazing the light bulbs that switch on. It doesn't take much thought for that claim to become overwhelmingly self-evident.

Thank you!

I don't agree with Sullivan on many things, he is far too far to the right of me on the environment. His initial support for the war was grounded in his naive enchantment with the 'strong man' - see his early writings on Mad Maggie, they are practically dripping with pre-cum.

Nor do I agree with him on multiple-sex partners. Now that we have hard scientific evidence that roughly 17% of us are, by nature, monogamous it is time to stop acting as tho' we were repressing something. Or other.

But he has hit the nail directly on the head here. And he has done so with logic, rigorously gathered data and proper scientific analysis.

I guess it is an index of his value to see the type of people who hate him passionately.
