Ever since I registered my wall oven (4 years old but new in the box) KitchenAid has been sending me emails on new products and even things like recipes. This was sent today.

Eugene, sorry I didn't realize this had already made an appearance here. I'll just leave it rather than delete.

KitchenAid's dishwasher-with-a-window made an appearance here a few months back. Some were jazzed about it, while others were disappointed that it wouldn't be lit up during the cycle. Personally, I think it looks cool.

Of course webmaster Robert---and others, probably---have been fitting windows in dishwasher doors for quite some time, now.

And maybe that's where KA got their inspiration! Maybe it's time for Robert to sue. If really lucky--and the right lawyer--he could end owning Whirlpool. LOL

With him in charge, it would, one trusts, be only a matter of time before there is a renaissance of the belt drive design. (Just imagine those sales people who rely on "this is new!" sales pitches having to try to sell a 50+ year old design!)

> I say it's a safe bet that Whirlpools would suddenly become solid tub machines with Pulsators under Robert's watch, LOL.

I thought that might come when he owns Electrolux. LOL Better buy your next front load Frigidaire while you can, Eugene! LOL

I wonder what the US Government would do if AW.org vintage-minded types somehow got control of the major players in the industry, and brought vintage designs back with a vengeance. The government could scream about energy savings, and minimum standards...but if every brand is suddenly vintage, what can be done? Refuse to let people buy a new washing machine--and then have a revolt of the peasants, er, citizens?
