Wanted something liquid or gel format for when doing colors at low temps in the AEG. As there are no choices among American TOL detergents that lack OBAs for colors went for a bottle of Persil color gel as one finds it at reasonable price locally.
Did a load of darks last night in the Oko-Lavamat and all one can say is the stuff packs quite a whiff. Now one knows this scent of old since Henkel uses it for Persil's rinse disinfectant. But unlike that product the detergent seems to linger and is more powerful. Left things to dry on clothes horse and at once the place began to fill with the scent. This morning went to take the washing down and fold, scent is retains the powerful punch. All this with using <15ml of the stuff, probably like 10ml or 9ml since the load was small and know recommended dosages of Persil are often way too much for either of my machines.
