In front load washers anyway, the amount of body oil and antiperspirant in clothes can vastly affect the amount of suds. New clothes seem to have a finishing chemical that kills suds the first time they are washed.
The Persil 2in1 requires a larger dose than the Original.
The Odor Fighter is awesome and sudses high but the suds are lightweight and don’t lock — and the scent is different, not as good as Original.
The German Persil liquids are a totally different formula, and require a much larger dose than the American, almost as much as the label directions specify.
The German Persil makes less suds and rinses out far easier than the American.
Both American and German Persil outperform Tide in my house, and Persil is my fave regardless of country of origin, but the German and American formulas are vastly different.
The latest, more concentrated German Persil gels smell awful, like new tires, when whiffed from the bottle, but once they hit water they smell just like the signature scent.
Just my experience. Of course others might disagree.
If they would make a Persil Original scented candle, one would be burning in my house 7 days a week!
