I, like most men

purchase such items based on scent, this includes personal hygiene items as well, even dishwashing liquid.

Persil Original's scent has always appealed to me, it has an industrial and masculine scent, if you will, besides it is the only detergent effective in removing diesel fuel odors from my uniforms.

However, I do use unscented clothes softening dryer sheets so as not to have conflicting scents on my laundry.

Quick glance at ingredient list shows Persil unscented seems to have a more advanced enzyme cocktail than Tide "free and gentle".

OTOH P&G long removed OBAs from Tide F&G while Persil unscented does have fluorescent brightening agents.

Last time around finding Persil unscented was bit of a chore. None of local shops carried it and am not a fan of ordering on line (Walmart or Amazon) when it comes to liquid laundry products. Thing always end up damaged or leaking.

That’s great! I still have one and a half bottles of the previous version, which was carried only by Walmart towards the end…I got several at the same time about a year ago, and the person who brought them to my car said they were the last ones in the store. Cleaning is superlative. I forget whether it has four or five enzymes but whichever it is, they do the job.

All of Persil’s US-market scented products have been too stinky for me, with the exception of the discontinued perls. So glad to see it back!
