What beautiful pets everyone! Jeff, my how Jack has grown into such a beautiful dog. I don't believe I had seen full grown pictures of him prior to now.
She is over 15 now, with arthritis, cataracts and quite deaf. But still full of spit and vinegar. In a daily ritual, I try to trick her into taking her various meds. Quite the life she has sleeping most of the time on her pick of the furniture.
This is my Roxie, she is a rescue kitty from the streets of Philly about a year ago. We rescued 2 of them, but sadly, one had to be returned to the rescue lady due to behavioral issues.
This is Crackers with Shadow. We also have a cat (Sputnik) but I don't have any current pictures of him. He doesn't get out much, and prefers to sleep on the water heater in the basement.
Such sweet dogs - our neighbor had one, and we had a Doberman/Beagle mix (although not as a result of the neighbor's Doberman ;-)
I remember seeing a TV movie when I was a kid about a guy who got mugged in a department store and woke up after hours and was terrorized by Dobermans who were guard dogs. It was nothing like the Dobermans we knew who were good watchdogs, but generally quite friendly, particularly to anyone with treats.
My 4 year old white Golden Retriever. First two names are famous comedian Billy Connelly and of course our family name. Hes the best dog you could dream of, doesn't bug you at the table, rarely barks, isn't aggresive much. Here is after a bath drying off in the aussie sun, he goes all nice and fluffy after being washed lol.
We ripped the old carpet out of our back staircase and threw it out on the deck last week. Well I guess the cats loved the carpet cause this is where we found them sleeping!
Mattywashboy--- Billy is a beautiful dog! Some friends have a dog of the same breed (named Mozart) and he also has a wonderful personality. A great picture!
In fact, thanks to everyone for posting pics of the pets! As my beloved cat The Swede had to be put down a few years back, I've been having pets vicariously through everyone else, LOL. It's fun to see the 'other' members of your families.
Fred is our 12 year old, 17 lb. blue point Siamese. Max is our 2 year old, 10 lb. Bengal.
Fred had an older brother that was a seal point who went to kitty cat heaven. When we brought Max home in the fall of 04, ( think), there was a definate adjustment perioid.
This Is My Pampered, Spoiled Rotten Black and White Domestic Shorthair Cat, His Real Name is Harley. The Name really fits him well--as when he purrrrs He sounds like a Harley! Although I can never ride my Harley, I can now say that I own a Harley--He's my cat--Here's some pictures of him for you to enjoy. Harley will be 3 years old this September.
Nathan
People always gaps "ohmigosh" you've got a rotty, isnt she vicious? The only thing that excites her much are cats, and the twice she's actually ever gotten close to one, she's been swiped on the nose and learnt some respect She's a big sook, who's terrified of storms, and hates loud noises.
After some pretty bad hip problems 2 years ago, she's now running on all cylinders again, and we're hoping she'll make it to 10yo
