I haven't used my Bosch for quite awhile. I would like to make some parker house dinner rolls and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

Because it seems as if no one responds after so many postings and reply's by the time it gets to the bottom of the disscussomat page. It seems easier to me, just to make another thread.

Hhhhmmmmm!!!

Hi Speedqueen / winnie

Welcome to the club, this site gets so busy that its easy to forget who`s new and not...it is best if we all stick to the original threads and so when someone like yourself asks the question the answers can be built onto the thread and then we can get a complete picture/history etc.

We also have to take into account that due to time zones and work days ( and holidays like Thanksgiving yesterday)not everyone is on line at the same time...

BUT, it does give rise to how we use this information database that our threads are building, I think we all need to look at how we use this, shortly the threads will be in the 10,000, thats a lot of talk for not that many washers!!!

I wonder if we look to using the subject line more thoroughly, example: Hoover Keymatic Model 3224 1961.
then when a certain question was asked & answered we build a picture, dates of production, styles, nuances, good better best features etc...and as long as its not full of pics by the 100 mark it should still be able to be add to it months later...

So many new people ask for information thats already in the 9,000 threads and with a bit more thought and use of past threads it would make searching for past historic info a darn lot easier...

Thoughts everyone,

p.s. Speedqueen, glad you enjoyed the pics, also was great to see all your accessories and the time you had taken to display them.

Cheers, Mike

frugal gourmet's

This all cost's money too. IMHO Robert is way to generous with us. I do not understand alot about bandwidth usage and all. Im sure we all try to be frugal. Im thinking its time to send Uni some $$$, Uni whats the tab, for all this? I usually at least check the POD every single day. Robert seems right handy with most things, but i doubt he has a money tree. arthur

Hi SpeedQ.. re your Bosch mixer.. do you have any of the other attachments. I only have the standard bowl, dough hook, the whisks and the recently added cookie paddles last year. I highly recommend those cookie paddles for heavy cookie doughs like choc chip and oatmeal chips etc which can damage the standard wire whisks. They weren't that expensive either considering how Bosch seems to gouge you on accessories, I think I paid about $24 for the paddles. I've forgone all the food processor attachments because of the price and I already have a good food processor or two, or three, maybe four but who's counting. LOL

I know what you mean. It used to cost 20.00$ for a pair of wire whips. They want to much for there parts.
