As a blind computer user, I would like for Yahoo to please switch to the earlier tried and true version of its email service. It was more accessible to assistive technology and easier to use than what is now available. As the saying goes: "If it ain't broke, then don't fix it!" Please sign this petition and ask others to do likewise. Thank you.--Laundry Shark

Signed it too. But I have switched to Microsoft as people complain emails take forever to get to them from Yahoo accounts.

Done

I received an e-mail from AT&T in advance of the change, informing me of the 'new and improved' version.  I saved the e-mail, not really sure why, but I did.  After the upgrade I was greatly annoyed and frustrated at the 'new and improved' version so I responded to that saved e-mail and told them exactly what you said - if it ain't broke then don't fix it!!!

I'm not happy with the "new" mail either. The last 'upgrade' was ok, the tabs for e-mail were useful for cutting and pasting, but the new one is a step back (it is free granted, but still...).

Was not aware of the change. I use my Yahoo mail account for two purposes:

1. Online cloud storage. For example I have a scan of my passport stored as a mail to myself. If I ever lost the passport abroad, I could print a copy to show a consular office.

2. I am in two Yahoo Groups. While you can be in a Yahoo Group without having a Yahoo account, I serve as co-administrator for one group and thus need a Yahoo account.

Otherwise, no one even has the address and so I usually never check it. I did check it today and no I don't like the new format.
