Funny this should show up on the board, I found it during a random CL search earlier today and had a moment! Talked to the seller. At five bucks guess what happened...scrappers descended like vultures and snapped it up days ago. Long gone.

I think it was a 1957 TOL unit, this is what can happen when things are priced too cheaply, I guess the only good thing is the seller did not have to break his back moving it, and there will be ten more LG washers in the world, LOL.

When I saw that $5 price, the first thing that occurred to me is that the seller could get more than that if they scrapped it.
He might as well have listed it in the "free" section where the jackals search first.

What a shame! This was a rare machine.I have the only known 57 gas duomatic in use today.Oh well people are in such a rush to get rid of stuff.Look how long it sat in that basement.AGAIN WHAT A SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any chance of getting the scrappers email/phone? Sometimes they take a few days to get the truck to the recycler. Just a thought for someone...

It played out with the seller.
Like why take all that time and effort to post 7? Very detailed pics of the combo parts including not 1 but 2 detailed pics of the wiring diagram/ cycle charts to then.
Sell for $5.00! to of all people- Scrappers??? You don't go through all that trouble when frustrated by a project gone south.
1 pic or just haul to the kerb-no hassels.
And he still has the ad up too.
Maybe worth a shot to ask for the buyers contact info-
You never know- it could still pan out.
It did for me last year on an Ebay parts lot for a '79 LKm electronic dryer that was parted out and 5 of the parts were grouped with parts from another dryer.
I got the buyers contact link from the feedback response for the seller and checked out his other items for sale auctions and BAM! He had 3 of the 5 LKM as buy it now or make an offer.(Flip the lot into separates) Got all 3 (one was the timer relay module) but never found out where the small transformer disappeared to
