Anyonw know how long Philco made wringer washers & what years? If you have one,how old is yours? Ihave a Philco WW with a turquoise or light blue tub. with a pic included.

Not have the Blades of Water or the Automagic!!!!!!!!!!!
Why did they not do that in their wringers?

Steve, there were also Philco washers with regular agitators before the flapper type came out. Another interesting wringer product of theirs was the double tub washer. There was recently a Philco wringer in a very pretty two tone yellow and white color on Ebay.
Matthew, you might want to give the washer a good going over with a damp soapy cloth before your next washday.

Actually I'm trying to restore or repair the washer. It needs new hoses,a new motor-deciding whether to have it rewound or replaced,the windings shorted & overheated,plus either fix the original pump or replace it with a small electric pump & use either new gasket material or silicone for the wringer's oil seals.
