I can't recall if that Philips mixer was ever sold here in Canada. If it was I'm sure I'd remember it or have seen one in my thousans of thrift store rounds.

Lemon Meringue= Smooshy Perfection.

My 2nd favorite pie of all time next to coconut cream. Oh if the two married each other and had a child, it would be the best thing that has happened to culinary deserts ever!

The mixer looks very nice as well!

What a deal on the Magimix, I paid $750 for my 5200, in Satin would've been $820 and the XL model $899.

What an absolute bargain.

I like to cook because I enjoy using the appliances. The more pans, appliances and steps there are involved in making a recipe the happier I am. Its fun to have a new toy to try and after a bit they go to the shelf as part of the collection when a new player comes in the house. The pie looks wonderful and I am right there with Noobie in liking all things coconut.
