Ths is the temperature control button for the fridge section, the deep freezer has a rotary dial located at the rear of the section.

Energy rating label
This fridge has a 4.5 star energy rating which means a high degree of energy efficiency,(or supposedly.)

...and if you multiply the first 2 digits of the energy consumption by 1.5, you get the approximate cost in dollars to run the appliance for 12months....

Bottom mount
Yes, Chris, the 2 choices in the bottom mount were a 510 litre Kelvinator(the one I liked.) or the 539 litre Samsung,(which mu sister liked), then we saw this one and went for it as it has a bit larger capacity and my sister really liked the chilled water jug in the door and so we decided to go for this.
Apparently Samsung used to make a 550 litre bottom mount with a similar water jug feature, however it has since been discontinued and we could not find one anywhere.
Also given that 2 independent repairmen told us that Samsung are a pain in the neck to deal with when it comes to spare parts and after sales service if it is required we decided to steer away from them.
So it came to the 510 litre Kelvinator bottom mount or this one which is 565 litres a fair whack of extra space.
