Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I took the lid off when I was cleaning and polishing it. There is an "S" stamped on the back of the lid. I have never seen this on the older models.

The next few shots are of the spin. This machine has a little faster acceleration than my others. The water splashes over the top. The tub is empty and up to full rpm's in less than 60 seconds.

Here is a shot of the lint filter removed with rinse water pouring into the barrel of the agitator. A foolproof lint collector, no pump or hoses to go bad.

One problem with this model is that the tub was always a little off center after each spin. There is supposed to be 1/4" overhang on the back. This was to the side as shown:

Very cool

Bobby you have the best luck, that Maytag looks absolutely pristine!
Enjoy it, it couldn't have a better home(unless it was in mine :-D)

Bobby

Enjoy your new 'Tag'. I have the same version in white.

What type detergent did you use, and, did you rinse the clothes twice to get rid of the detergent?

Steve and I defeated the lid switch on the Mutt this weekend. Was very easy to do.
