I thought I would share pictures with you guys. This is a large room with short ceilings. It's the first thing I fell in love with the house when I first went through it.

This is one of 3 built-in dressers. the drawers are very deep and wide. Mostly blankets, extra sheets and some clothes.

Cubby Hole Doors

There are 4 of these that have extra storage behind them and lord knows what else.

There is a couple black and white portable TV's in one, that I'm afraid to plug in. One I will get brave and get them out.

Lighthouses and printers

Above one of the built in dressers. The is the free printer I got off of FreeCycle, because the lady said it was broken and it was only out of ink. The typewriter is a Hermes Electronic with a LCD display.

My Computer Desk

There is a drawer on each side and shelves at the end. The white drive on the computer is an old 5 1/4" floppy drive.

Island II

This is HP Printer that I got off of eBay for $20.00 plus shipping with an extra paper tray and built in duplexer. Works perfect.

This is a mini closet at the end of the island, more vintage computer stuff, mostly software. There are two access door with more storage space above the room.

love your lighthouse collection!

i used to live on lake erie and i am very fond of lighthouses myself!

your room seems very cozy and charming! you definately have enough storage space and cubby holes! very nice!

There's another cubby hole in the room across the hall. It also has a built in dresser and shelves. I also have a large walk in closet, and a small closet next to the bathroom.

Model M's Rule!

I got mine for dirt cheap on eBay. I popped the keys off soaked them in warm water with dish washing soap, to the keyboard apart and ran all the non-electronic stuff through the dishwasher. It's as good as new. I don't know how many times is been knocked of the desk. Damn things are almost indestructible. Plus I love the feel of them over today's keyboards. IBM's keyboards whether computer or typewriter are the best. I have an extra in case something happens to this one, or for a second computer

I think this is the most relaxing room in the house, with the exception of the screened in back porch.

I don't know what got me started on the lighthouses, I've never seen a real one. They are so peaceful to look at.
