Are we still going to have a picture of the day and patent of the day? I haven’t seen it on the new website yet

There was mention that adding Picture of the Day is under investigation. Nothing thus far on Patent of the Day.

Everyday we were able to view a patent that was granted to various manfacturers for new innovations invented over the years.
Patent of the Day is (was) a library of .pdf files, patent registrations for primarily washers and related technology but also a few other things. A link on the home page, random daily rotation.
I had about 900 washing machine patents in .pdf files located in the PAT_OF_THE_DAY directory. Every day at midnight central time a new patent file was picked randomly and shown for the day to download.

Wow the Picture of the Day works perfectly Alan, the Patent of the Day however the file is too small and corrupted or so it appears to me. Is there a way to show the entire file directly on that page without having to download it?
Update never mind what I said about the Patent, it works just fine. My Adobe Acrobat had a temporary hiccup.

Hi Alan, They're working fine for me on a Windows 11 PC too. Thanks so much for bringing these features back to life ... they were sorely missed by a lot of people!

Yay Alan! Can’t thank you enough. Those pictures, and their window into a bygone time that I remember, make me smile every day first thing.
