Hi everybody.., I am having a problem with loading pictures. Every time I load the pics the are to big and even when i crop them there still are ... very frustrating.
Can anybody help me with this situation. I have a Apple Mac mini computer.
Thanks guys.

It's easier with an Apple...

Open your picture in Preview.

Go up to the Tools menu and tell it "Adjust Size".

Make your "Width" dimension no longer than 1024 Pixels.

click OK and save the picture.

The high-megapixel cameras nowadays may generate very large files (in regards to MB size). Keep reducing it to smaller width/height -- 800x600, 640x480, 320x240, etc. until you get a file small enough to take. Or, reduce the resolution of your camera or the resolution of the image with photo editing software.

Actually I find the easiest way to do this is to drop the color content down to 256 colors. You can't really see the difference and it really cuts the size of the file down nicely.

I send all my photos to aw.org at 256 colors, 800x600 res. Works every time. Any simple graphics program will do this for you. I use an oldie called Lviewpro.

Hey guys, Sorry for the late response, Allen thanks for the advise.
Larry I have Mac os.x it has it's own program so I am working on it slowly lol.
Larry love your Electrolux washer!
I will E.mail you guys if i have problems.

Thanks. Darren K

I have the maximum picture upload value set to 1.5mb, Darren can you tell me what size (in megabytes) are the pictures you are trying to upload?

Any pictures set to 1024 x 768 with unlimited colors should upload just fine.

Hello, Robert & group members. Well, my friend and I over last weekend took some shots of his new house and some great laundry pictures that I had a great time with ... his Canon camera was set at 3000 some odd bytes which where HUGE lol I I got frustrated and stopped like I always do. I need to get more computer savvy because there is a lot things I want to post and share with the group but things have been pretty hectic with me and that's another story . So I think I got the situation right this time, Robert. Thanks for your help. I really appreciated it, and I hope that you will have a great week!
OK test picture one at 1024. OK it worked whoo more pics to follow later.
Got to go to class. Peace guys & gals.
