Except the models I had were probably MOL - I did not have the pushbutton cycle selectors BUT I had the lighted back panels on the washer and the dryer. Wow - that was my first full-size washer/dryer set (in Harvest Gold like in the picture) that I got from a co-worker at the time (I traded a set of Kenmore compacts for them) when I bought my first home in 1989... The Viking brand name just brings back so many memories, too. My father worked at the now-defunct Eatons Department stores years ago, so we had LOTS of Viking appliances at home. Thanks for posting this cool photo!!

The Hotpoint lid and two Hotpoint knobs (on the washer) make for an interesting look. I wonder what other slight variations are hiding under the lid. A white tub maybe?

On the set I had, the tub was indeed white, with a turquoise agitator and mini-basket. The Viking washers of this era were indeed Hotpoint clones - well-spotted!
