I know the answer, but WHY is the dishwasher always missing from these pink packages?
The pink double-bowl sink brings back memories. My folks bought a new home in 1964 that was equipped with pink Hotpoint appliances and double-bowl sink (Ken - no dishwasher).
My mother hated those pink appliances until the day they moved out of the house.

because not many people had d/w back then! It wasn't until the late 60s, early 70s that they became ubiquitous.

totally out of place, but...
...if you're going to get those pink appliances you might as well go "whole hog" and complete the look with this 1965 Mary Kay Cadillac advertised in near-by Riverside. 58,000 original miles, $8,500 seems like a bargain to me. I'll bet the sample case is still in the trunk.

The other factor in the missing DWs is that they wear out before ranges and get replaced.
