1956 it's not, 1960. Imperial model, only one oven and storage drawer. The CI model would have had two ovens and a few other features. *Bean Pot*!! ROTFL

We all make mistakes, but with the entire internet at their finger tips, could they not have Googled Mamie Eisenhower for the correct spelling? I guess they slipped through the 'No Child Left Behind' net.

Sorry, 1959 Imperial - not 1960. The colored drawer panel threw me for a minute.

Hey Greg -

Thanks for the update! I recently picked up a 1962 Imperial 40" Range, that did not have the drop down burner, so I assumed this model was a CI - and the panel colors looked like yours. For something over a grand, I think the seller would have done their homework. Geez!

$1200 is very optimistic for sure...

I've seen them go for around $500 but rarely more, especially since this is a 40 inch model which tends to narrow the market even more.

$1200 is WAY steep, even for pink if you ask me. But it's still VERY cool. The 1958-1959 Custom Imperial series is definitely my favorite Frigidaire range!
