Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a new home that was only lived in for a few years since it was built in the 60's. Needless to say it came with a beautiful pink Frigidaire stove and dishwasher. They are in excellent condition, barely used and work fine. Can anyone give me some info/feedback on these? I would really appreciate it! Sorry the pics are not the best!

These look great! The dishwasher is a 1963 or 1964 model, look at the model tag on the lower front panel (the black painted part). I have the same dishwasher at home (in white) and I really like it!

Since the diagram says yours has a drain solenoid, I think it should be a 1963 model too. DW-IUF

As for the Compact 30, it's a 1962-63 model. RBE-533.

Lucky you!

First thing is to get all of those surface unit switches in the OFF position. Both appliances look great and the dishwasher with the detergent dispenser provided two washes so it would clean and, believe me, I put some of those through hell's own cleaning tests. The little revolving rinse sprayer at the top of the tank really helped the performance by keeping food particles from landing and staying on top of things. The stove is an excellent performer. Oven and broiler give excellent results. Once you get used to the surface units, they do, too. Such wonderful appliances with so little use; you hit the jackpot. I hope the rest of the house is as nice. What colors are the tiles and fixtures in the bath(s)?

Tell us more about your new house. I hope you are planning on keeping these excellent vintage appliances. Thanks for checking in.

I noticed all of the appliances have been removed

Are you planning on reusing them or are you planning on selling them?

I may be interested in the dishwasher if you are planning on selling them.

We are planning on selling them, I think they are adorable but they are just not me. I wish I had a huge finished basement I could add a kitchen and make those the focal point but I don't:( I was trying at this point to get more info to see what a fair selling price might be.

P.S. Someone asked about the bathroom colors, both very retro also!! The main bath is mostly white tile with baby blue tiles thrown in and built-in baby blue soap dish and toothbrush holder. The master bath is somewhat the same except the tiles thrown in are multi-colored pink, green, blue etc. Thank goodness the sinks and toilets are white!
