In Irvine, CA.  Nice looking, kinda pricey - BUT - if you read on down in the listing, the seller states:

"We also have a built in oven, electric stove top-4 burner, washer and dryer ALL PINK Vintage"

Some of our CA folks might want to look into this one.....

So pricey....but wonder about those other items

There are at least 3 of these (but white) out here in Phoenix. All are in the $100-150 range. Someday folks will learn that "old" does not = priceless. :/

But it's old.  And pink.  So it must be rarer than hen's teeth!

Probably a repaint...

not only mismatched deck/body on washer dryer but looks like a wide strip of painted tape on the left side of fridge door. That looks a more "candy" pink than factory to me.

Allen, I think you're right.  There's a shot of the model tag and the pink fades to white.  So unless GE didn't paint the entire exterior the same color, it appears someone had it repainted.

The washer and dryer are definitely a repaint.  Those machines look like early 70s models and to the best of my knowledge, Maytag never had a two-tone paint job on their machines even in the heyday of the 'holy trinity' (pink, turquoise, and yellow... LOL).

Crap!

Well that's disappointing.  I wonder if the sellers did this "retro" paint-thing, or if maybe they've purchased a house and all this stuff came with the house.

Oh well - the Maytags demonstrate what I've suggested before as a way to get color on new appliances.  This is the 1956 Frigidaire answer to "color" - all washer and dryer tops were white, cabinets were offered in colors (at least this is the only colored configuration that I've seen - others feel free to correct me if this is known to be inaccurate).
