I remember another episode, where the Pink Panther's tail gets sodden, so he puts it into the dryer. He gets lifted up and around the external porthole of the machine.
The dryer finishes, he retrieves his tail, walks away with his normal tail, and then his tail suddenly explodes into a furry pom-pom.
