Pink Visimatic in Maine!

And ... here's a pink Kenmore Visimatic!

Does this look like a lower-end model, or is it just me? The control dial looks a little "crooked", but could probably be fixed.

It is a lower end (but still very nice) model, because it has a straight vane agitator and one speed. I have a similar one with 2 speeds that has a roto swirl agitator with a scrubber cap. This one might be slightly older than the one I have, judging by the Kenmore logo. There are some variations in controls, etc as well, and some of the wringers have a chrome shroud, etc.

These machines are quiet and wash well, and the Visimatic wringers are nice, because the open top makes it much easier to see what you're doing.

Scott ... I bet the Visimatic wringer is nice. It is wide open. Clothing probably doesn't wrap on the top roller too often, does it? And if it does, you can get it out pretty easily, huh?

The problem with Maytag is that when a sock or something goes over on the top roller and you don't catch it, it gets lodged near the release lever. I've put holes in socks and t-shirts because of that. I'm now very careful.
